PRPC is an application development environment provided by Pega. First, it is an application to develop business process management applications using its ready-made functionalities. Additionally, business applications are developed with no coding required for business logic or database queries. Furthermore, the development is carried out through a model-driven approach. In other words, the entire application is designed using visual models and configurations. Consequently, there is no need for traditional coding or programming. This environment contains some common business functions, like OOTB rules. Some functionalities are like “send email notification,”  “commit with error handling,” etc.

Operator ID: The login ID or user name we use to login to the PRPC environment enables us to access its applications.

On the top left, we can see the application, and there we can see the Pega platform (the name of the application is Pega Rules).
First, when we use the credentials administrator@pega.com, PRPC takes the operator to a built-in application called “pegaRules.”
